Welfare Support

Trinity has numerous points of contact for welfare support and wellbeing advice. These pages, along with the information on the College website, provide information as to who best to contact if you need support/advice.

The Wellbeing Advisor co-ordinates the wellbeing and welfare provision in the college, providing guidance and support to individual students and helping shape the college welfare policy. She is also the Disability Lead and Safeguarding Lead. More info, and contact details for Nicola, can be found here.

The Welfare Officer is an MCR Committee Member who can provide members of the MCR with any welfare support and information they need. For more information about the Welfare Officer, see here.

The Junior Deans & Peer Supporters within college are more points of contact for out-of-hours welfare emergencies and informal support respectively. Find out more here.

The College Nurse can advise, treat and support any college student who is unwell, injured or in any other difficulty. She is in college Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, the College Doctors run a weekly surgery in College, and are able to prescribe medication. To find out more about their roles and open times, see here.

College offers Sexual Health-related items such as condoms and pregnancy tests, and the College Nurse can give pregnancy advice, the morning after pill and STD testing. Find out more here.

Counselling can be provided confidentially, for free, by the University Counselling Service. More information can be found here.
